Any suggestions?

Should I just be happy with it?

hmmm to be honest I'm disappointed along with you.

I don't know much about honda turbo systems so I have no suggestions brother.

I wouldn't be happy with it at all. I am running the same turbo system on a stock long block and made 228whp on 4 psi less. The only limiting factor for me right now is my MAP sensor, otherwise I would turn it up a couple more pounds.

In '06, I made over 250whp and 230wtq at about 15 psi after the car was brought down from Colorado altitude. We retuned it to the numbers above because of my MAP sensor. There is a limiting factor here, I would investigate it further to see what is going on. What are you running for management? Hondata?

I am running CROME

before the tune on the link piggy back I made 185hp/175tq on 10psi

When the tuning got started it made 211 @ 11psi
so add 3psi = 238/235

the turbo was done @ 14psi. 17psi didn't make a difference

I'm thinking about taking the exhaust off from downpipe back to see?

I know you had mentioned it before but like Chad was saying, the turbo is maxed out. You can only flow so much through the exhaust side of the turbo....

CHROME is the issue here in my opinion. With out seeing the whole mod list, I am fairly certain that you should be making as much as power as I am if not more.

GT28R is essentially the "disco potatoe" turbo and will support 250-300hp easily. I have used T28s on SR20s and put out 268hp at the rear wheels.

What are your intake air temps? Boost loss across the IC? Check timing under boost, a couple of degrees advance can equal a bunch of HP.
