XM/Ipod Mod

Anyone with a Trailblazer SS can attest that GM fucking failed hard by not putting an aux mp3 jack in the vehicle from the factory. A member on another site was offering this mod as a means of splicing into the XM harness, and then utilizing an mp3 jack when the radio selects XM.

I had to pull apart my dash, HVAC unit, Head Unit, etc. to get the job done. Those of you who know me know that I am limited in my knowledge for stuff like this. After some minor malfunctioning during re-assembly (nothing to do with the mod I did), I just got everything buttoned up. I am gonna list some pics of the part and stuff from the original thread, and then a video I shot on my iphone of this little bitch in action!

Please, disregard the distortion coming from the iphone recording...yikes...inside though, it sounds fucking killllllllla!
