Default I'm getting tuned Sat morning!!! (wish me luck;)

I'm getting tuned Sat morning!!! (wish me luck

1999 Civic Ex d16y8 (sohc) block
Vitara pistons, FJ R Spec rods (made especially for the vitara pistons),
mildly ported/polished head (diy ftw), stock valve train, LSD Dragger (stage like 3or4) clutch, stock/open diff, Edelbrock turbo kit that comes w/ a little GT28R turbo.

I hope to max out the turbo and be some where close to 300hp, but anything above 250ish and I'll be happy!!!

I've owned the car 10 yrs and been boosted on stock block for like 5yrs and have been built for like 1.5-2 yrs now.
I'm so excited!!!

You will make north of 250whp easily. I made a little bit less than that with the Edelbrock kit pushing 10 psi on my SOHC and a completely stock long block.

thanks Steve and Randy

well the results were to say the least disappointing:

11psi did about 211 hp
then turning up the boost to
14psi bested 238hp/235tq

up to 17psi didn't make a difference
Chad said the hotside of the turbo was just maxed out. He honestly predicted that we'd maxout the little gt28r (gt2560r) right at those numbers.
I was a little pissed because he predicted it, hit it, then stopped.
He did try more for me but yeah it didn't make a difference.
